In the late hours of a September evening, the life of Zaair Tuck, a 31-year-old Black/African American man from Elizabeth, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. On September 24, 2012, Tuck had gone to visit a friend in downtown Elizabeth, a visit from which he would never return home. He was found on the sidewalk outside his friend's residence, the victim of a fatal shooting.
