On a Saturday afternoon, May 23, 2015, the life of 20-year-old Earlquan Moore was tragically cut short by gun violence in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The young man was in the vicinity of the 200 block of 3rd Street when he was shot. The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m., across the street from Brophy Field where a baseball game was underway. First responders rushed Moore to Trinitas Regional Medical Center, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
