On a late Thursday evening in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the sound of gunfire shattered the night, leaving a young man's life cut short. Twenty-year-old Al-Yasin Anthony was identified as the male victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on September 15, 2016. The incident took place around 11:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Court and First streets. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Anthony with fatal gunshot wounds.
