In the summer of 2015, a wave of violence cast a dark shadow over the city of Elizabeth, New Jersey, forever altering the lives of several families. On June 25th, Dennis Vega, a 28-year-old male resident of the city, was found deceased in the area of New Point Road and 7th Street. His death was the result of a fatal shooting, an act that was part of a much larger and more terrifying string of events.
