In the summer of 2023, a life was abruptly cut short on the streets of Elizabeth, New Jersey. David Ernesto Guevara, a 33-year-old male, was found on the evening of June 23rd in the vicinity of Spring Street and 3rd Avenue, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. When Elizabeth Police Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 9:39 p.m., they discovered Guevara, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
