On June 23, 2023, at approximately 9:39 p.m., Elizabeth Police Officers responded to the area of Spring Street and 3rd Avenue in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where they discovered 33-year-old David Ernesto Guevara with gunshot wounds to the head. Tragically, Guevara was pronounced dead at the scene.
