In the early hours of a Saturday, the life of 19-year-old Marquise Carruthers, a male resident of Irvington, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. Shortly after midnight on November 15, 2014, Carruthers was shot in the 900 block of Clinton Avenue in his hometown. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported him to University Hospital for treatment.
