In the quiet suburban town of Irvington, New Jersey, a young life was abruptly cut short on the night of August 19, 2022. Kensley Moneus, a 17-year-old male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the backyard of a residence on the 100 block of Maple Avenue. Police were initially called to the area due to noise complaints, as Moneus was reportedly hosting a party. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:40 p.m.
