In the early morning hours of a Sunday in late October 2015, the sense of security in a Pleasantville, New Jersey neighborhood was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Sultan Veney. The 36-year-old male, a resident of nearby Atlantic City, was discovered slumped against a car on Tremont Avenue just before 3 a.m. on October 25, 2015. Authorities were drawn to the scene following a 911 call reporting a shooting.
