On a Tuesday evening, September 18, 2018, the life of 17-year-old Jayden Zero Fondeur was tragically cut short in his hometown of Jersey City, New Jersey. A male of Black or African American descent, Fondeur was standing in front of a convenience store on Old Bergen Road when a vehicle approached. Shots were fired from the car, striking the teenager.
