In the late hours of a November night in Jersey City, a young man's life was cut short by an act of violence. Francisco Merced, a 24-year-old male, was discovered inside a vehicle on the 100 block of Sterling Avenue, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body. The call came in at 11:35 p.m. on November 2, 2014, a date that would forever mark a tragic loss.
