Death by Force

In the late hours of a Friday night in Jersey City, New Jersey, 21-year-old Darius Dashawn Redmon was fatally wounded. While sitting in a car near the Booker T. Washington Housing Complex on May 2, 2014, he was struck in the head by a bullet. In the immediate aftermath, three companions rushed him to a police station. Officers at the station administered CPR before he was transported to a nearby hospital, but his life could not be saved. He was pronounced dead the following night.
