In the early morning hours of June 4, 2015, the life of 35-year-old Darcel Rivers, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short on a street in Jersey City, New Jersey. Rivers was discovered unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of 117 Fulton Avenue at approximately 3:45 a.m., suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
