In the early morning hours of a summer Saturday in Jersey City, the life of 19-year-old Jordan Herron was tragically cut short. On July 20, 2019, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the sound of gunfire echoed in the area of New Heckman Drive. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a chaotic situation with two other young men, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, suffering from gunshot wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
