On a Sunday evening in Jersey City, the life of 17-year-old Zaimier Bell was tragically cut short. On March 21, 2021, police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Woodlawn Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered the young male with gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was quickly transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead at approximately 6:10 p.m.
