On the evening of Friday, December 12, 2025, law enforcement officials in Jersey City, New Jersey, responded to a distress call at an apartment complex on Rose Avenue. Upon arriving at the residence shortly after 5:10 p.m., police discovered Al-Jahmir Curry, a 16-year-old male from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
