Asonte DeShawn Koppenhofer-Smart, a 21-year-old resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2017. Born on April 22, 1996, Asonte was remembered fondly by his family and friends. He left behind his parents, Celeste Koppenhofer, Arthur D. Smart, Sr., and Andre Asberry, as well as his children, Kaden and Lauryn.
