In the early morning hours of June 7, 2020, the life of 48-year-old Darnell McIntosh, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Police responded to a call of a shooting near the intersection of Marshall Avenue SE and 33rd Street at approximately 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered McIntosh suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
