In the early morning hours of November 3, 2019, the life of 31-year-old Tarell Marquise Mapp was tragically cut short in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mapp was fatally shot in the chest while attending an after-hours party at a commercial strip mall on 28th Street SE. Grand Rapids police were already present at the location, responding to calls about a fight that had broken out at the gathering.
