In the early morning hours of September 21, 2019, the life of 29-year-old Markese Boyd, a male resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was tragically cut short. Grand Rapids Police were initially called to the 1000 block of Ionia Avenue SW following a report of a shooting.
