On a Tuesday evening in May 2022, a simple act of managing finances at an ATM turned into a fatal tragedy for Joseph Douglas Wilder. The 50-year-old White/Caucasian male from Kentwood, a community near Grand Rapids, Michigan, had stopped at a Huntington National Bank in Byron Township.
