On April 29, 2023, 41-year-old Edgar Hernandez-Sandoval was fatally shot during an altercation outside the Affordable Suites of America hotel on East Beltline Avenue near 28th Street in Kentwood, Michigan. Responding officers found Hernandez-Sandoval with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the incident, 35-year-old Jerry Kidd Jr. was arrested and charged with open murder and a felony firearms offense in connection with Hernandez-Sandoval's death. The charge ...Read More
