In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 29, 2023, a dispute outside of a hotel in Kentwood, Michigan, turned fatal, ending the life of 41-year-old Edgar Hernandez-Sandoval. The male victim was a resident of Grand Rapids. An altercation occurred at the Affordable Suites of America on East Beltline Avenue SE.
