On Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2020, the life of 17-year-old Aveion Ki-Mar Cloud was tragically cut short in Grand Rapids, Michigan. An African American male, Aveion was fatally shot while in a car at a gas station located at Leonard Street and Fuller Avenue at approximately 2:58 a.m. His death was part of a year that saw a record number of homicides in the city.
