Jose Manuel Garcia Rivas, aged 31, tragically lost his life on September 4, 2022, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The incident occurred at La Petite Chateau, a local restaurant, where Rivas was shot. Despite life-saving efforts by the Grand Rapids Police Department, Rivas succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The Kent County Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide following an autopsy.
