In the early hours of a Monday morning, the sound of gunshots shattered the peace of a Grand Rapids neighborhood. On April 9, 2018, police received multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire on the city's southeast side. When officers arrived at a home in the 700 block of Delaware Street SE, they found 28-year-old Kaharee Jamon McIntosh Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, his injuries were too severe, and he died at the scene.
