Robert Anthony Kozminski, a 29-year-old police officer from Grand Rapids, Michigan, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on July 8, 2007. Officer Kozminski was responding to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Emerald Avenue NE around 1:40 a.m. The call reported a man with a gun threatening to shoot others at the location.
