Death by Force

John Cain, a 38-year-old resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2021. Cain was working as a security guard at the Grand Rapids Inn when he was fatally shot while evicting a resident over a noise complaint. The incident occurred late at night, and Cain was shot at close range by 21-year-old Jacob Grygorzyk, who was staying at the inn. Grygorzyk fled the scene but was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a nearby residence.
