In the summer of 2020, the life of 23-year-old Quavon Shamar Lee was tragically cut short in Grand Rapids, Michigan. On the evening of June 7th, police were called to the 800 block of Bemis Street SE following reports of gunshots. Upon their arrival, they discovered a running vehicle with two occupants who were both deceased. Inside were Quavon Shamar Lee and 20-year-old Jaionna Michelle Braden; both had been fatally shot.
