In the early morning hours of June 26, 2020, the life of 48-year-old Denver Sherrod Gunn, a Black male from Grand Rapids, Michigan, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a call around 3 a.m. and discovered Gunn on the front porch of a residence on Muskegon Avenue NW, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
