On the night of September 9, 2025, in Portland's Lloyd District, 25-year-old male Hassani Abdi Musa was shot and killed. Officers from North Precinct were dispatched at 11:28 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 500 block of Northeast Holladay Street. They found him on the sidewalk along Northeast Grand Avenue just south of Northeast Hassalo Street, near the entrance to the Louisa Flowers Apartments, where emergency responders confirmed he had died at the scene.
