Dwayne Carter, 43, male, was killed in Milwaukee on the morning of October 18, 2025, after an all-night poker game at a house near West Appleton Avenue and West Ruby Avenue on the city's northwest side. Police were called just after 7:30 a.m.; Carter was found in the home's basement, and a second victim, 33-year-old Shaquille E. Madison, collapsed outside and later died at Froedtert Hospital, according to officials and local reporting.
