Christopher A. Reed, a 36-year-old Black male, was shot and killed on the morning of December 12, 2020, on Milwaukee’s northwest side after an argument turned violent near the 5400 block of North 92nd Street by Custer Avenue. First responders and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office were called just before 10:30 a.m.; Reed suffered fatal gunshot wounds at the scene. His death that day is reflected in public remembrances and victim registries that mark his passing in Milwaukee.
