On November 6, 2023, 19-year-old Malik Dej'zay Eubanks was found deceased on Horton Avenue SE near Melville Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He had been fatally shot and left lying in the street. Tragically, his nearly 3-year-old son was discovered wandering alone about a mile away, covered in blood but unharmed. Authorities believe the child may have witnessed his father's murder.
