On a Sunday morning in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the life of 34-year-old Jason Lewis Jordan was tragically cut short. On August 9, 2015, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Jordan was seated in a vehicle at the intersection of Franklin Street and Eastern Avenue SE when he was fatally shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
