On June 29, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Grand Rapids, Michigan, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Jeremy Parnell. The shooting took place in the southeast side of the city, near the intersection of Ardmore Street SE and Thelma Avenue SE, just before 12:30 a.m. Initially, when officers responded to reports of gunfire, they found no victim at the scene.
