In the warm evening hours of July 3, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia, the life of 17-year-old Jazon Javier Fajardo was tragically cut short. The teenager was enjoying the city's First Friday concert and Independence Day fireworks display at the Midland Greenway when violence erupted. Shortly after the festivities concluded, around 10 p.m., an apparent altercation broke out, leading to gunfire.
