Phillip Ronald Smith, a 55-year-old African American male from Gainesville, GA, tragically passed away on June 15, 2015. His death was the result of a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Phillip was found behind the "N" building of the Atlanta Street apartments, a location that has since been demolished. Despite the passage of time, the case remains unsolved, and the Gainesville Police continue to seek new leads and information that could help bring closure to this cold case.
