In the cold of a Detroit winter, on January 8, 2021, the life of 35-year-old Mark Paige was tragically cut short. A Black male, he had only recently, about a month prior, moved into a residence on the city's west side, a place that would unfortunately become the scene of his untimely death. The circumstances surrounding his passing were grim, as he was discovered deceased inside the home, the victim of a violent act that claimed two other lives as well.
