On a Tuesday afternoon in New Orleans, 19-year-old Aaron Thompson, known to his loved ones as 'Poohna,' was going about his work as a beer delivery driver. It was March 8, 2016, and his route had taken him to a gas station in the Algiers neighborhood, at the intersection of Shirley Drive and General DeGaulle. In a sudden and violent turn of events, Thompson was shot while on the job.
