Norris Gray, aged 22, was killed on May 1, 2012, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His death occurred during a violent year for the city, which was experiencing an increase in homicides. Gray was found behind the wheel of a vehicle, with a gunshot wound, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) arrived shortly after being notified of the incident.
