In the spring of 2012, the vibrant life of a young, aspiring rap artist from New Orleans was tragically cut short. Norris 'Scooby' Gray, a 22-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on the evening of Tuesday, May 1, 2012. The incident occurred at or in the vicinity of Second and Clara streets, where he sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
