Jerome Magee, aged 24, was killed on September 27, 2016, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was one of several victims of gun violence that day, and his death was commemorated among other individuals in a national memorial highlighting victims of gun-related homicides. Magee's death, like many others in New Orleans, added to the tragic statistics of violent crime in the city, which has consistently struggled with high rates of homicides.
