Elkin Corrales, aged 18, was tragically killed on February 19, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Corrales, who was originally from Nicaragua, had been living in the United States for less than two years before the incident. He supported himself by working as a painter and had a one-year-old son back in Nicaragua.
