Hector Trochez, a 45-year-old Loomis armored truck guard, was tragically killed on December 18, 2013, during a robbery in New Orleans. The incident occurred at the Chase Bank located at the intersection of South Carrollton and South Claiborne Avenues. Trochez was ambushed as he was preparing to deliver approximately $265,000 to the bank. During the robbery, the attackers, who were heavily armed, demanded that Trochez give up the money.
