Police believe two male suspects exited two separate vehicles before opening fire on Williams. One suspect is thought to have fled in the Crown Victoria or Marauder, while the other left in a black sedan.
A potentially crucial piece of evidence, a hat, was recovered from the scene of the crime. Authorities have made public appeals for the owner of the hat to come forward, emphasizing that they are considered a material witness and not a suspect. Despite these efforts and the ongoing pleas from his family, no arrests have been made in the murder of Daniel Williams.
