In the summer of 2012, the city of Detroit, Michigan, recorded a violent incident involving Romero Howard, a 39-year-old African American male. On June 25, 2012, authorities received reports regarding a situation in the 12100 block of Longview Street, located on the city's east side. Police responded to the scene at approximately the reported time, where the events unfolded at a residence identified in records as 12121 Longview.
