Shawn Ewing, an 18-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically shot to death on May 3, 2021. The incident occurred on Tacoma Street near East State Fair Avenue and Schoenherr Street on Detroit's east side. Ewing was just weeks away from graduating from Eastpointe High School, making his untimely death even more heartbreaking for his family and community.
