Prentice Smith

On the morning of June 9, 2013, a violent incident unfolded on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, claiming the life of 25-year-old Prentice Smith Jr., a Black male also known to friends and family as "EJ." At approximately 11:00 a.m., Smith was seated in the driver's seat of his burgundy and tan Chevrolet Tahoe near the intersection of Grandville and Davison streets, in the vicinity of Schoolcraft and Evergreen Roads.
