Joseph Roberts, a 36-year-old resident of Holland, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed just after midnight on June 19, 2022. Roberts, described as a dedicated family man with aspirations of joining the Holland Fire Department and a passion for stand-up comedy, was shot nearly a dozen times at an apartment complex on Lincoln Avenue. His death left his family and community in shock, especially since they had moved from Chicago to Holland to escape gun violence.
