In the summer of 2022, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence on a quiet street in Holland, Michigan. Antory Mijia Burrell, a 19-year-old male, was riding his bicycle with his friend, 18-year-old Demontae Knight Jr., on the evening of June 1st. As they made their way along College Avenue, between 16th and 17th streets, the peaceful evening was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Both Burrell and Knight were struck by bullets.
