In the early morning hours of August 6, 2022, the life of 17-year-old Gavino Torres, a Hispanic male from New Boston, Michigan, was tragically cut short. Just after 3:00 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting on Wahrman Road in Huron Township. Upon arrival, they discovered Gavino with gunshot wounds to his arm and abdomen.
