On a summer afternoon in Detroit, Michigan, tragedy struck the community. Trevion Ward, a 20-year-old Black/African American male, was standing in front of a residence in the 19900 block of Omira Street on July 18, 2024. At approximately 1:19 p.m., a blue sedan, heading southbound, approached the location. Suddenly, multiple gunshots were fired from the vehicle, striking Ward several times.
